Drexel University to host world premiere of "The Backyard Philly Project"

MAY 10 + 11

We must begin by thanking every person who was a part of our IndieGoGo campaign last winter and every person who has contributed in any way to the production of The Backyard Philly Project. Here are the details of the premiere that you have been waiting for:

The Backyard Philly Project delves into the lives of four teens growing up in Penn Town, an inner-city neighborhood, and how their involvement with Helping Hand Rescue Mission has given them hope for a better life through tutoring and other character-building activities aimed at young people.  Filming began in October 2011 and concluded in June 2012, and consists partly of video shot on individual cameras given to the teens. The documentary premieres May 10 and 11 at Drexel University’s URBN Center Annex at 6pm. Tickets go on sale March 18, and can be purchased at our store.

We’ve also launched our Electronic Press Kit yesterday, which includes our newest trailer, press release, photos during production, bios, and details of the premiere event.

P.s. We are feeling so loved and blessed with all the shares and likes for this new trailer. Thanks for being the marketers for our event.
